Does the Vizio V-Series have ACR?
Yes.
Yes. It runs Vizio SmartCast and the fingerprinting is on unless you turned it off. The toggle is "Viewing Data".
Vizio's Inscape unit is the original ACR business and the reason for the 2017 FTC settlement. Walmart bought Vizio in 2024 largely for this data. The TV fingerprints every input and sells viewing logs; Vizio calls the toggle "Viewing Data".

- Press the Menu button on the remote
- Open System
- Open Reset & Admin
- Highlight "Viewing Data" and press the right arrow until it reads Off
Other switches
Ads, recommendations and voice each have their own toggle. None of them are covered by the main switch.
Applies to All models
- Open Advertising, under Admin & Privacy on 2020 and newer sets or under System > Reset & Admin before that, and turn "Limit Ad Tracking" on
- In the same list, turn "Smart Interactivity" off if it is there. That is the older name for the same thing.
What the switch does not cover
- Vizio's free WatchFree+ channels keep their own ad calls running.
